# Chainquay

> Chainquay is a crypto payment gateway for online businesses. Merchants accept Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ether (ETH), BNB, and the stablecoins USDT and USDC on TRON, Ethereum (ERC20) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) through a hosted checkout or a REST API; confirmed payments are settled automatically to the merchant's own wallet, minus a 1% fee. No monthly or setup fee.

- Assets: Bitcoin (BTC, Bitcoin, 2 confirmations, typically paid in ~20 min); Litecoin (LTC, Litecoin, 2 confirmations, typically paid in ~5 min); Tether USDT (USDT_TRC20, TRON (TRC20), 19 blocks, typically paid in ~1 min); Ether (ETH, Ethereum, 12 blocks, typically paid in ~3 min); USD Coin USDC (USDC_ERC20, Ethereum (ERC20), 12 blocks, typically paid in ~3 min); Tether USDT (USDT_ERC20, Ethereum (ERC20), 12 blocks, typically paid in ~3 min); BNB (BNB, BNB Smart Chain, 20 blocks, typically paid in ~1 min); USD Coin USDC (USDC_BEP20, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), 20 blocks, typically paid in ~1 min); Tether USDT (USDT_BEP20, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), 20 blocks, typically paid in ~1 min).
- Prices can be set in USD, EUR, GBP (rate locked for the payment window, 20 minutes by default) or in crypto.
- Custody only in transit: each payment gets a single-use deposit address; funds move to the merchant payout wallet after confirmation.
- Fulfil orders on the `payment.confirmed` webhook. `payment.settled` means the funds reached the merchant wallet.
- API base URL: https://api.chainquay.com. Auth: `Authorization: Bearer cq_live_…` (test keys `cq_test_…`).
- Official npm package: `chainquay` (TypeScript, ESM + CJS, includes webhook signature verification).
